Our winter offer
Winter is the best season of all to enjoy the beauty and opportunities of our region.
Downhill skiing is the area’s top attraction, with one of Europe’s major ski areas, known as Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta.
Commezzadura is close to the Marilleva and Folgarida ski lift facilities, that are directly linked with the Madonna di Campiglio ski area, and is not far from the ski slopes of Pejo and Passo Tonale, featuring the breathtaking Presena glacier, where ski slopes are working year-round.
Our ski area offers technical slopes for experienced skiers as well as easy ones, topped by a host of expert ski schools ensuring a pleasant stay to anybody. Snowboard enthusiasts will find in Marilleva a modern snowpark.
The area has also a remarkable Nordic ski offer; in snowy periods, Commezzadura offers its guests an enchanting lighted cross-country ski trail. Anyway, even when snow is not enough, the Vermiglio Cross-country Ski Centre, at a few minutes drive, has a cross country trail with artificial snow-making facilities.
Commezzadura is also the starting point of several ski-mountaineering routes climbing up to the majestic peaks of the Brenta range, Presanella or Cevedale. Another charming experience could be snowshoeing in the Stelvio National Park, which is amongst the most appreciated natural areas in the Alps.
If you prefer ice, not far from Commezzadura you may go skating in the Folgarida and Malè ice-skating rinks or experience the thrill of breathtaking climbs up iced waterfalls in Val di Rabbi.
Again, make a try at sleddog, horse-drawn carriage outings and a lot more. Commezzadura offers its visitors a wide choice of sports activities and features top level sports facilities. A cableway lift is under development, that will take skiers from Daolasa (850 m. a.s.l.) up to the ski slopes at 2020 m. height, and will be directly linked with the Trentino Trasporti electric train. This state-of-he-art intermodal arrangement will make it possible to get directly from downtown to the slopes without having to take different means of transport.
However, Commezzadura does not only mean Alpine ski, but also cross-country, ski-mountaineering and, for those who like the mountains in summer, long hikes amongst the greenery and climbs up to enchanting
peaks.
